Mollusk Shells in the World of the Calusa

Time: 9:00 am til 11:00 am

Location: Calusa Heritage Trail 13810 Waterfront Drive, Pineland

Description: A workshop with Dr. Bill Marquardt that will discuss mollusks and, with artifacts and specimens, show how southwest Florida Indian people made use of shells, especially those of lightning whelks, in their daily lives and spiritual practices.
