Prehistoric Pottery for Adults
Time: 3:00 pm til 4:00 pm
Location: Gulf Coast Visitor Center 815 Oyster Bar Lane. Everglades City, Florida 34139
Description: This workshop discusses how native Floridians made pottery for thousands of years. Participants will learn about building and decoration techniques by making their own pots in the same way the Calusa did when they ruled Southwest Florida.
Event is free and open to the public, but space is LIMITED to the first 25 registrants to ensure supplies for everyone. To register please call the Gulf Coast Visitor Center (8:00 AM -4:15 PM) at 239-695-3311.
