Description: Join FPAN and Koreshan State Historic Site to learn all you wanted to know about doing archaeology.

We are not the first people to realize the wonders of Southern Florida; people have been living here for over 10,000 years. Come learn about these prehistoric snowbirds and the evidence they left as they made seasonal rounds throughout the United States. See if people have been traveling your route for thousands of years!
Hands-on activity: learn how to identify prehistoric artifacts
Event is FREE and ALL AGES. Standard entrance fees apply.

The Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki presents: American Indian Arts Celebration 2014

Time: 10:00 am til 5:00 pm

Location: Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum, Big Cypress Reservation

Description: This year the AIAC (celebrating Native American dance, music, arts, and culture) will take place on November 7th and 8th, 2014 on the Big Cypress reservation. The event will highlight Native American cultures, dance, music, art, and food. Participants can also enjoy skateboard contest and activities, wildlife shows, and Native American vendors.
