Pop!: The A-maize-ing Science of Popcorn Archaeology

Time: 10:00 am til 11:00 am

Location: Montura Clubhouse, Clewiston

Description: Join FPAN and the Clewiston Public Library for the Florida Library Youth summer reading program: Fizz! Boom! Read!

In Pop!, children will explore the scientific ways archaeologist study one of our most ancient explosive treats: popcorn! Activities will include reading a book, learning about how popcorn pops and how early people used corn, and trying your hand at some fun crafts. Each child will also receive a tasty treat to take home.

Pop by, lend us an ear, and we'll be sure to a-maize you with our terrific and scientific popcorn archaeology!
