Munree Cemetery Project Part I

Time: 7:00 am til 12:00 pm

Location: Munree Cemetery, Edenfield Road, Tallahassee

Description: Starting early in the morning FPAN, SEAC, Munree Cemetery Foundation, Inc. and three trained HRD (Human Remains Detection) dog handlers with their HRD canines will be at Munree Cemetery working together to establish the boundaries of the historic African American cemetery in Tallahassee. These are specially trained dogs that will help to identify where burials exist within the cemetery. They will start at approximately 7 and work until the dogs have surveyed the entire property. rnrnMunree Cemetery is located off of Edenfield Road. Take U.S. 90 east past Dempsey Mayo Road, turn left at the light at Edenfield Road. The public is welcome to come and watch the dogs at work.
