Underwater Archaeology in Florida

Time: 6:30 pm til 7:30 pm

Location: TCC Wakulla Center, 5 Crescent Way, Crawfordville

Description: This lecture is part of the "Creeks, Conquistadors, and Confederates: Archaeology of the Big Bend" Lecture Series. This lecture series will take place during March 2012 to commemorate Florida Archaeology Month. Franklin Price and Lindsay Smith, Underwater Archaeologists with the Florida Bureau of Archaeological Research will be presenting on the USS Narcissus and Florida's Underwater Archaeological Preserves and the Florida Panhandle Shipwreck Trail. This is sure to be a great presentation that will give both water sport enthusiasts and land lubbers a look at Florida's submerged archaeological resources.
