A Look Within: The Decorative Arts at the Knott House Museum

Location: Knott House Museum (301 East Park Ave., Tallahassee)
Description: William and Luella Knott purchased the home in 1928, when the Art Deco style was popular. Join the Knott House in discovering the art and history of interior design. Professor Karen Myers, FSU Department of Interior Design, will discuss the stylisitc periods of the late 19t hand early 20th centuries. Educator Janessa McGowens will interpret how the objects at the Knott House follow decorative trends of the 19th century. Refreshments will follow the presentation and this presentation is free to the public.
