Ochlocknee River State Park Primitive Arts Festival

Time: 8:00 am til 4:00 pm

Location: Ochlocknee River State Park

Description: Join us at Ochlocknee River State Park for the Stone Age and Primitive Arts Festival. FPAN will be on hand along with many other state agencies and vendors. It is sure to be a fun-filled and informative weekend for the whole family. For the first time ever Atlatl Antics will be part of the festivities, bring the kids so they can learn to use this prehistoric hunting tool! Join us in celebrating Florida Archaeology Month 2011! Wakulla Stories: Through a Looking Glass

Time: 7:00 pm til 8:30 pm

Location: Historic Courthouse in downtown Crawfordville

Description: This is a heritage play that is taking place during "Founder's Week" to celebrate Wakulla's rich and interesting history and culture. It is a production of Wakulla County Historical Society and the Palaver Tree Theater Company. Tickets can be purchased in advance at http://www.shop.wakullahistory.com/ or purchased at the door. Tickets are $10 for individual, $5 for Seniors and Students and $7.50 for Historical Sociaty Members. You can call 850-926-1110 for more information as well.
