Fierce People: Southwest Florida’s Most Notorious Inhabitants

Time: 2:00 pm til 3:00 pm

Location: Bonita Springs Public Library 10560 Reynolds Street, Bonita Springs, FL 34135

Description: The Calusa were called “the fierce people” and for good reason. They held off Spanish domination for almost 200 years, but before that, they ruled the entirety of Southwest Florida. We’ll talk about the engineering, trade, and power that made this possible.

This event is open to the public and is geared towards adults.

FPAN is participating in this event.
