Fierce People: Southwest Florida's Most Notorious Inhabitants

Location: Cape Coral Historical Museum/ Cultural Park Theatre located at 528 C

Description: The Calusa were called “the fierce people” and for good reason. They held off Spanish domination for almost 200 years, but before that, they ruled the entirety of Southwest Florida. We’ll talk about the engineering, trade, and power that made this possible.

The event is held next door to the Cape Coral Historical Museum at the Cultural Park Theatre located at 528 Cultural Park Blvd. This event is open to the public and is geared towards adults
