Fierce People: Southwest Florida’s Most Notorious Inhabitants

Time: 10:30 am til 11:30 am

Location: Mid County Regional Library 2050 Forrest Nelson Boulevard Port Charlotte, FL 33954

Description: The Calusa were called “the fierce people” and for good reason. They held off Spanish domination for almost 200 years, but before that, they ruled the entirety of Southwest Florida. We’ll talk about the engineering, trade, and power that made this possible.

This event is geared towards adults and is open to the public.

FPAN is participating in this event.
