Prehistoric Potters for Kids

Time: 5:30 pm til 6:30 pm

Location: East Naples Branch Library, Naples

Description: Discovering Florida’s Ancient People - Who were the first people to live in Florida? All are long gone and most did not have written languages. How do we know what we know about those who have come before us? Archaeology is one way of understanding the past through the things that were left behind, like ceramics. Come learn about what archaeologists do and what sort of clues they study to understand what life was like for the very first Floridians! Try your hand at creating your own Native Floridian-style clay pot!

For grades K-5. Registration required: 239-775-5592.
