Weeds and Seeds: A (Pre)History of Dining in Southern Florida
For centuries, Mound Key has played a key role in southwest Florida’s cultural history. This exclusive guided tour of the Calusa Ceremonial Center, Mound Key Archaeological State Park will begin with a paddle across Estero Bay, followed by a foot tour of key cultural sites on Mound Key. Learn what recent excavations have revealed about life in Estero Bay.
Hands-on activity: kayak paddle to Mound Key and walking tour

Event is FREE and ALL AGES. Meet for departure at Lover's Key Boat ramp. Bring your own kayak or rent on from on-site vendor.
