Mysteries in the Deep: Underwater Arch for Teens + boat activity

Location: Immokalee Branch Library, Immokalee

Description: Mysteries in the Deep: Underwater Archaeology- Did you know that Florida has the second longest coastline in the United States? Through time, all this water brought in all kinds of human doing and making all kinds of wonderful things! Come and learn what underwater archaeologists study and how they do science underwater!
Then try to use odds and ends (egg cartons, straws, plastic bags, string) to build a boat, considering propulsion, displacement, carrying capacity, and finding a really cool name.
