Pre-K Junior Archaeologists

Time: 10:30 am til 11:30 am

Location: Northwest Regional Library, Cape Coral

Description: Bring your littlest explorer to learn all about what archaeologists do and discover. Then little hands can use this knowledge to create their own cave art and Calusa mask to take home!

Junior Archaeologists Discover FL\'s Ancient people

Time: 3:30 pm til 4:30 pm

Location: Fort Myers-Lee County Public Library

Description: “Discovering Florida’s Ancient People” - Who were the first people to live in Florida? All are long gone and most did not have written languages. How do we know what we know about those who have come before us? Archaeology is one way of understanding the past through the things that were left behind. Come learn about what archaeologists do and what sort of clues they study to understand what life was like for the very first Floridians! Try your hand at creating your own Native Floridian-style clay pot!
