Click the link above for more information or contact us at northwest@fpan.us!
Please note: we will be limiting the number of individuals in our lab for health and safety reasons during the Fall 2021 semester. For this reason, we are instituting an RSVP system. Game description:
Nancy Drew®: Legend of the Crystal Skull is a first-person perspective, point-and-click adventure game. The player is Nancy Drew and has to solve a mystery. Explore rich environments for clues, interrogate suspects, and solve puzzles and mini-games.
Bruno Bolet was the proud owner of the Whisperer, a crystal skull rumored to protect its holder from almost any cause of death except murder. When Bruno passed away, his nephew Henry came to wrap up his affairs, but he couldn't find the skull among the clutter of the creepy Bolet manor. You'll need to team up with Nancy's best friend Bess Marvin to find this mystical artifact before it falls into the wrong hands!

Description: Join us for the next installment of FPAN's "Zoom into Archaeology" series: "San Pablo: The 'Secret' Former Life of a Gulf of Mexico Shipwreck" by FPAN Public Archaeologist Nicole Grinnan!
The shipwreck San Pablo, known locally as the Russian Freighter, is one of the northern Gulf Coast's best recreational diving spots. Despite its peaceful existence today as home to a wide variety of marine life, San Pablo's sinking was part of a plot by the United States Office of Strategic Services (OSS) to deal a crippling blow to the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. This presentation will explore San Pablo's fascinating history and its new life as a staple of the Florida Panhandle Shipwreck Trail.
This presentation is most appropriate for teens and adults, but is family-friendly!

"Zoom into Archaeology" is a free online series that features a short presentation by a researcher via Zoom and an opportunity for participants to ask questions at the end of the presentation. Space is limited, however, and a password will be required for access. RSVP at the link below!
