Description: Join us for the next installment of FPAN's "Zoom into Archaeology" series: "Interpreting Women's Rights; Preserving Her Stories" by Robin Reshard!
There are numerous untold, fascinating stories about the perseverance, struggle, and successes that African American women endured in fulfilling the American promise in Pensacola, Florida. Many of these women encountered physical, economic, social, and cultural torment along the way. Despite these obstacles, they persevered to gain their rights and live freely and fully. Join us for a presentation that honors African American heritage in Pensacola and highlights the central role of women in our community in celebration of Women's History Month.
This presentation is most appropriate for teens and adults, but is family-friendly.
