Description: Join us for the next installment of FPAN's "Zoom into Archaeology" series: "Introducing the Gulf Coast Digital History Project - Exploring Maritime History and Heritage in the Time of COVID-19" by University of West Florida Department of History Assistant Professor Dr. Jamin Wells!
In this presentation, Dr. Jamin Wells will introduce the Gulf Coast Digital History Project, an online portal to northwest Florida's diverse maritime history and heritage. He will share highlights from the thousands of historic documents digitized through the project and discuss the unique opportunities it provides to explore our area's many museums, archives, and historical societies from the comfort of your home.

"Zoom into Archaeology" is a free online series that features a short presentation by a researcher via Zoom and an opportunity for participants to ask questions at the end of the presentation. Space is limited, however, and a password will be required for access. RSVP via the link below!
