Zoom into Archaeology: Excavating Ancient Burials in Central America

Time: 3:30 pm til 4:30 pm

Location: Online; Central Daylight Time

Description: Join us for the next installment of FPAN's "Zoom into Archaeology" series: "Excavating Ancient Burials in the Jungles of Central America" by UWF Department of Anthropology Assistant Professor Dr. Katherine Miller Wolf. This September, we proud to feature presentations from faculty and researchers at the University of West Florida!

In this presentation, Dr. Miller Wolf will discuss experiences excavating burials from sites in Central America dating from AD 250-1100 and explore what can be learned about a person from their skeleton and the context of the burial. She will also share stories of unique experiences in the field!

This presentation is most appropriate for teens and adults, but is family-friendly.
