Archaeology on Tap: A Sticky Situation

Time: 6:00 pm til 7:00 pm

Location: Odd Colony Brewing Company, 260 N Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32502

Description: Join us for our "Archaeology on Tap" program at Odd Colony Brewing Company to hear FPAN's Barbara Clark give her talk "A Sticky Situation: Turpentining in Florida." Barbara is the Director for FPAN's Northwest and North Central regional offices. She is a Registered Professional Archaeologist who specializes in historic archaeology, 19th and early 20th century. Her interests include the turpentine and lumber industry, specifically focusing on the social aspects of "camp life."

"Archaeology on Tap" is just like our longstanding program ArchaeoCafé, except it's hosted at a local brewery instead of a restaurant! "Archaeology on Tap" is free and open to the community. Seating is unreserved. The talk starts at 6:00 p.m. and guests are recommended to show up by 5:30 p.m. to place drink orders before the talk begins.
