Archaeology Lab Volunteer Day

Time: 10:00 am til 4:00 pm

Location: FPAN Coordinating Center, 207 East Main Street, Pensacola, FL 32502

Description: The FPAN Archaeology Lab is open to volunteers throughout the year. Volunteers help rough sort artifacts recovered from local archaeological sites. No experience is needed, but all volunteers are given a brief orientation by a professional archaeologist on their first day. Archaeology on Tap: Luna & the Aztecs

Time: 6:00 pm til 7:00 pm

Location: Odd Colony Brewing Company, 260 N Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32502

Description: Join us for our "Archaeology on Tap" program at Odd Colony Brewing Company to hear UWF's Anthropology and Archaeology graduate student Christina Bolte give her talk "Tristán de Luna and the Aztecs: Indigenous Allies and Spanish Conquest."

"Archaeology on Tap" is just like our longstanding program ArchaeoCafé, except it's hosted at a local brewery instead of a restaurant! "Archaeology on Tap" is free and open to the community. Seating is unreserved. The talk starts at 6:00 p.m. and guests are recommended to show up by 5:30 p.m. to place drink orders before the talk begins. Odd Colony Brewing Company is located in downtown Pensacola at 260 N Palafox Street.
