Cemetery Cleaning: Magnolia and AME Zion

Time: 8:00 am til 12:00 pm

Location: Between A and B streets, just north of Cervantes in Pensacola

Description: Join the Archaeology Institute for a clean-up of Magnolia and AME Zion Cemetery, which is located in between A and B streets, just north of Cervantes in Pensacola. The clean-up will consist of manicuring around individual headstones, and debris removal. Please remember that everyone will get dirty. Volunteers need to wear closed-toed shoes. These clean-ups will also be open to the public and other UWF organizations, so feel free to bring your friends! Gloves, equipment, and plenty of water will be provided. Annual Baker Heritage Day

Thunderbird Intertribal Powwow

Time: 9:00 am til 8:00 pm

Location: Niceville Mullet Festival Grounds, 598 FL-85, Niceville, FL

Description: Experience the sights and sounds of Native American dancing, drumming and singing. Dancing includes intertribal, exhibition and contest dancing. Enjoy storytelling, authentic native crafts from all over the United States, exhibits and demonstrations. The Thunderbird Intertribal Powwow is family-friendly, with something for everyone. Admission: $5 for adults; $3 for ages 12 and younger

Walton County Explore the Outdoors Festival

Time: 10:00 am til 2:00 pm

Location: Live Oak Landing, 229 Pitts Ave, Freeport, FL, US

Description: This fun-filled day will introduce children to the wonders of exploring nature and the outdoor experience. Hands-on activities will include fishing, kayaking, wildlife, archery, interactive educational exhibits, giveaways and much more. The event is free for all ages! The water activities are geared for children six-years-old and up. Food will be available for purchase.
