Cemetery Cleaning: Historic Mt. Zion
Time: 8:00 am til 12:00 pm
Location: Corner of Cross St. and Guillemard St. in Pensacola
Description: Join the Archaeology Institute for a clean-up of Mt. Zion Cemetery, which is located at the corner of Cross St. and Guillemard St. in Pensacola. The clean-up will consist of manicuring around individual headstones, and debris removal. Please remember that everyone will get dirty. Volunteers need to wear closed-toed shoes. These clean-ups will also be open to the public and other UWF organizations, so feel free to bring your friends! I will provide gloves, equipment, and plenty of water. RSVP to kmp42@students.uwf.edu.
