Tidally United Summit 2019

Time: 8:00 am til 4:30 pm

Location: Museum of Commerce, 201 Zaragoza St, Pensacola, FL 32502

Description: Interested in climate change impacts like sea level rise on archaeological and cultural resources? The 2019 Tidally United Summit, hosted by the Florida Public Archaeology Network and the University of West Florida, will engage participants to consider solutions to threats posed by rising sea levels and climate change to heritage sites in Florida and across the globe.

Presentations and panel sessions to take place throughout the day. Coffee and morning refreshments provided. Lunch break from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Registration fee is $40; student registration fee is $20. Tidally United Summit 2019 Reception and Exhibit Opening

Time: 5:30 pm til 7:30 pm

Location: FPAN Coordinating Center, 207 East Main Street, Pensacola, FL 32502

Description: Join us for the Tidally United Summit 2019 Reception and the opening of our latest temporary exhibit: "Hurricane Michael: Reshaping Florida's Past"! Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served. Afterward, head to nearby Palafox Street to join Pensacola's monthly Gallery Night event.
