Archaeology Story Time (2nd-5th grade): Lightship

Time: 3:30 pm til 4:30 pm

Location: FPAN Coordinating Center, 207 East Main Street, Pensacola, FL 32502

Description: Join Florida Public Archaeology Network staff in enjoying an archaeology story time and hands-on activities, specifically geared for our youngest members of the public! Space is limited for this program, so please register by emailing mthomin@uwf.edu to save your spot!

The story for this event is "Lightship" by Brian Floca. Kids and parents will learn what underwater archaeology is and how we can learn about the past from shipwrecks. After the story kids will construct their own boat to take home. All families with children in 2nd grade through 5th grade are encouraged to join us! Children must be accompanied by an adult through the duration of this program.
