The Big Draw Festival/International Archaeology Day

Time: 10:00 am til 4:00 pm

Location: Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site, 5709 Mill Pond Lane, Milton, Florida 32583

Description: Join us for a fun, FREE day of PLAY! From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., children can participate in art activities in Arcadia Mill's pop-up color space PURPLE, including Painting Pottery Patterns and an educational station presented by the Florida Public Archaeology Network. Also join us at 11 a.m. for a lecture on the art of ceramic decorations through time!

The Big Draw Festival celebrates our global community of drawing enthusiasts who are united in their passion for the power of visual literacy. The universal importance of drawing is reflected in the diversity of our community! This event is also hosted in honor of International Archaeology Day!

Secrets of Santa Rosa: Archaeology in your Backyard

Time: 11:00 am til 12:00 pm

Description: Join FPAN and Arcadia Mill for this wonderful lecture series on local archaeology and history! Talks will be approximately 45 minutes long, with time at the end for questions. Afterward, enjoy the beauty of Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site on a guided tour. See flyer above for speakers and topics!
