Archaeology Day at the Florida State Capitol

Time: 8:00 am til 3:00 pm

Location: Florida State Capitol Courtyard and Rotunda, Tallahassee, Florida

Description: FPAN and other archaeology organizations from around the state of Florida are teaming up to host an "Archaeology Day" at the Florida State Capitol. Join us to learn more about Florida's history and archaeology, and discover why these valuable cultural resources are worth protecting for future generations!

Archaeology Lab Volunteer Day

Time: 10:00 am til 4:00 pm

Location: FPAN Coordinating Center, 207 East Main Street, Pensacola, FL 32502

Description: The FPAN Archaeology Lab is open to volunteers throughout the year. Volunteers help rough sort artifacts recovered from local archaeological sites. No experience is needed, but all volunteers are given a brief orientation by a professional archaeologist on their first day!
