Archaeology Lab Volunteer Day

Time: 10:00 am til 4:00 pm

Location: FPAN Coordinating Center, 207 East Main Street, Pensacola, FL 32502

Description: The FPAN Archaeology Lab is open to volunteers throughout the year. Volunteers help rough sort artifacts recovered from local archaeological sites. No experience is needed, but all volunteers are given a brief orientation by a professional archaeologist their first day.

Public Lecture: "Diseases of Famous Historical Figures"

Time: 6:00 pm til 7:00 pm

Location: Tryon Branch Library, 1200 Langley Ave., Pensacola, FL

Description: We gladly welcome Dr. Francesco Galessi from the University of Zurich's Institute of Evolutionary Medicine as he presents "Diseases of Famous Historical Figures: A Journey through Paleomedicine."
