Volunteer Field Lab at Luna Settlement Site

Time: 10:00 am til 2:30 pm

Location: UWF Field School Headquarters, 303 Chipley Avenue, Pensacola

Description: The University of West Florida's Division of Anthropology and Archaeology is offering a unique opportunity for members of the public to volunteer in the on-site field lab at the recently discovered 1559 Tristán de Luna land settlement site. Volunteers will learn what it takes to work in an archaeological lab and have the chance to chat with archaeologists, learn more about the Luna settlement, and be a part of a community effort!

Volunteer days are offered on some Tuesdays and Thursdays between June 7th and July 14th. Call UWF's Archaeology Lab today at 850-474-2087 to learn more and reserve your spot. Space is limited for each day, so call soon!

FPAN is co-hosting this event.
