2015: An Anniversary Year In U. S. Civil Rights

Description: Dr. Susan Jans-Thomas, professor in the University of West Florida Department of Research and Advanced Studies, will present "2015: An Anniversary Year in U. S. Civil Rights," in an event hosted by the UWF Historic Trust on Thursday, February 18, at 6:30 p.m. The presentation, held at the Voices of Pensacola presented by Gulf Power, will chronicle a year of events held throughout the South remembering historical events in civil rights history. The event is free and open to the public. A reception at 6:00 p.m. will precede the lecture providing an opportunity to tour the companion exhibit. Voices of Pensacola presented by Gulf Power is located at 117 E. Government St in downtown Pensacola.
