Munson Community Heritage Festival

Location: Krul Lake Recreation Area, Milton, FL 32570

Description: The Munson Community Heritage Festival is a non-profit event designed to showcase the unique past and culture of Northwest Florida - particularly northern Santa Rosa and Okaloosa Counties - from days gone by. The family-friendly atmosphere and backwoods feel are perfect for reminiscing about the good ol' days, remembering stories passed down from generations before or taking a sneak peak back at the way things used to be.

This event is free and open to the public ($5.00 parking fee).

Explore the Outdoors Festival

Time: 10:00 am til 3:00 pm

Location: Circle Drive, DeFuniak Springs, FL

Description: This fun-filled day is geared towards introducing children to the wonders of exploring the outdoors. Hands on activities will include fishing, boating, kayaking, wildlife encounters, archaeology activities, interactive educational exhibits, nature-based crafts and much more!rnrnThis event is free and open to the public.

Secrets of Santa Rosa: Archaeology and History in your Backyard

Time: 11:00 am til 12:00 pm

Location: Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site, 5709 Mill Pond Lane, Milton, Florida 32583

Description: Join FPAN and Arcadia Mill for this wonderful lecture series on local archaeology and history! Talks will be approximately 45 minutes long, with time at the end for questions. Afterward, enjoy the beauty of Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site on a guided tour.
