Archaeology Cafe - "Across the Line: Pensacola's Red Light District

Time: 6:00 pm til 7:00 pm

Location: Ozone Pizza Pub 1010 North 12th Avenue, Suite 111, Pensacola

Description: Join us for our next Archaeology Cafe at Ozone Pizza Pub! Jacqueline Rodgers, an archaeology graduate student at the University of West Florida, will present her research about the archaeology of Pensacola’s red light district titled “Across the Line: Historical Myths and Archaeological Realities of Pensacola's Red Light District.” It will be followed by an open discussion. Find out how archaeology is revealing information about the women who worked in Pensacola's red light district!

Archaeology Café is held inside Ozone Pizza Pub. It is free and open to the public. Seating is unreserved and limited to 55 guests. Guests are encouraged to support our hosts at Ozone’s by purchasing food and drinks. We encourage you to show up at least 15 to 30 minutes to get your orders in before the fun starts! Ozone Pizza Pub is located at 1010 N 12th Ave. in Pensacola.

A new exhibit about Pensacola’s red light district will be on display at the Destination Archaeology Resource Center located at 207 East Main Street in September.

FPAN is hosting this event.
