This will be the last speaker in our series to honor the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War. The Civil War was the deadlist conflict the United States has ever maged in terms of American lives lost. It remains one of the most important historical events in the history of the United States and changed the country socially, economically, politically, and militarily forever.
