Description: From Press Release: The City of Fort Walton Beach Heritage Park and Cultural Center is
hosting a free lecture on Friday, August 13th, at 12:00 p.m./noon inside the Indian Temple Mound Museum. Dr. Amy Mitchell-Cook, a professor of history at the University of West Florida, will deliver a presentation titled “Women Sailors: Pirates, Soldiers and
Saviors.”
