Archaeology Storytime: The Puzzle of Our Past
Time: 10:00 am til 11:00 am
Location: Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, Gardener's Cottage
Description: Our past is a puzzle missing the box and most of its pieces. Join us as we explore how archaeology helps us put those pieces together to see the picture!
This program features the reading of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗱'𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲 by Virginia Walton Pilegard and our all-time favorite 𝗣𝗼𝘁 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗵 activity where kids decorate a terracotta saucer, smash it, and then try to put it back together!
Archaeology Storytime is designed for grades K-6, but all are welcome.
