Tidally United Summit

Time: 8:30 am til 4:30 pm

Location: Pensacola, FL

Description: Interested in climate change impacts like sea level rise on archaeological and cultural resources?

The 2019 Tidally United Summit, hosted by the Florida Public Archaeology Network and the University of West Florida, will engage participants to consider solutions to threats posed by rising sea levels and climate change to heritage sites in Florida and across the globe.

8:30am-4:30pm: Tidally United Summit
Location: Museum of Commerce, 201 Zaragoza St, Pensacola, FL 32502

Presentations and panel sessions to take place throughout the day. Coffee and breakfast snacks provided. Lunch break from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Registration fee is $40; student registration fee is $20.

5:30-7:30pm: Reception at FPAN Coordinating Center
Location: 207 E Main St, Pensacola, FL 32502

Join us at the FPAN Coordinating Center and Destination Archaeology Resource Center for an evening reception! Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served. Afterward, head to nearby Palafox Street to join Pensacola's monthly Gallery Night event
