Lunch & Learn for Kids: Discover the Hidden History Around You

Time: 10:00 am til 12:00 pm

Location: Florida Trust for Historic Preservation

Description: Bring your kids for our first-ever kids Lunch & Learn! Join us as we
learn about the hidden history around us, including historic
architecture and an introduction to archaeology.
The event will include a historic architecture scavenger hunt and
Puzzles of the Past, an interactive learning experience that talks
about archaeology and how it tells us about people from the past.

Note: Please let the Florida Trust know if you are coming so we have enough materials.

Back to School Teacher Refresh

Time: 6:00 pm til 8:00 pm

Location: Proof Brewing

Description: Join Community Classroom Consortium friends and partners for an educator take-over at Proof Brewing Company! Meet with local informal education organizations and learn about ways the CCC can support you throughout the school year, play some educator trivia, snag some "swag", and win raffle prizes!

Plus, a portion of all sales of the current "Eco-Drink" at Proof Brewing Company will benefit the CCC! This money goes to teacher grant opportunities, quality educational outreach and public events, the annual CCC Passport to Adventure, and more.

You can find us in the private tasting room from 6-8pm.
