GOPHR Workshop: National Register of Historic Places

Location: Florida Trust for Historic Preservation, 906 E Park Ave, Tallahassee

Description: The Florida Trust and the Florida Public Archaeology Network are hosting the Tallashassee GOPHR (Governmental Opportunities for Preserving Heritage Resources) Series. These educational sessions are aimed at professional preservationists and outline opportunities for protecting Florida's heritage resources. Our Presenter will be Tristan Harrenstein, RPA, Florida Public Archaeology Network. This workshop will dive into requirements and benefits of being listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This will be followed by key advice on Heritage Resource Preservation, hot to effectively preserve cemeteries, historic structures, and archaeological sites.

The classes are free to attend and will be held every Thursday in September from 10 - 11:30 a.m. at the Florida Trust House. YOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND BY CLICKING ON THE LINK INCLUDED IN THIS POSTING.
