Dash through the Past History Scavenger Hunt

Time: 9:00 am til 12:00 pm

Location: Constitution Convention Museum State Park 200 Allen Memorial Way, Port Saint

Description: Join the Florida Public Archaeology Network for our first "Dash through the Past" history scavenger hunt in beautiful Port St. Joe! The hunt follows Port St. Joe's walking trails and offers individuals or teams of two a chance to compete over a two-mile course for great prizes from local sponsors. Registration starts at 9:00 am at the Constitution Convention Museum State Park and the hunt begins at 10:00 am! There is no set route or order in which challenges must be completed. Prizes will be awarded based on both a team's completion time and number of correct answers.

All ages are welcome; participants under 16 must have a parent or adult guardian participate. A donation of $10.00 includes a reusable aluminum water bottle!

Wakulla Springs Archaeology Day

Location: Wakulla Springs State Park

Description: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tour field laboratory

11:30-1:30 “Lunch With Archaeologists” Bring picnic lunch/drink

See and taste food from way back when
See how tools and ceramics were made
See an active archaeological dig
