The Civil War: Through their Eyes

Location: Carrabelle History Museum

Description: The Carrabelle History Museum will host the first in a series of lectures and presentations about local Civil War history on Saturday, February 4 from 10-1 pm in downtown Carrabelle.

The lecture, titled “The Civil War: Through their Eyes” will feature stories of the Civil War in the Florida Panhandle from a personal perspective as told by Tristan Harrenstein of the Florida Public Archaeology Network and Michael Kinnett of the Orman House Museum and author of “Apalachicola Pearl”.

The Civil War lecture series is part of the Museum’s Look, Listen & Learn Program. A second Civil War presentation is scheduled for May 20.
