Preservation50 CRPT at Tallahassee Old City Cemetery
Time: 10:00 am til 4:30 pm
Location: LeRoy Collins Public Library/ Old City Cemetery
Description: Join us, the City of Tallahassee and the Florida Division of Historical Resources in celebrating 50 years of the National Historic Preservation Act by learning about cemetery management, maintenance and preservation and sprucing up Tallahassee's historic Old City Cemetery. Registration is $15 and includes a morning classroom session at LeRoy Collins Public Library, an afternoon practical session at Old City Cemetery, snacks/water, and materials. Lunch will be on your own. It is a Saturday, so you will have an opportunity to visit the downtown marketplace for lunch if you would like.
