Lecture: The Turpentine Industry in Florida

Description: Barbara Clark, Director of FPAN North Central and Northwest, will be discussing the turpentine industry in Florida. This industry was often referred to as the naval stores industry because of it\'s ties with the shipping industry. Turpentine was a major export out of Florida until the mid-1970s when synthetics became more easily available.
