The Seminole Tribe of Florida: Voyage of Tears

Time: 5:00 pm til 6:00 pm

Location: Fort San Marcos de Apalachee State Park, St. Marks, Florida

Description: Come be a part of history as The Seminole Tribe pays tribute to the journey of the brave Seminole ancestor, Polly Parker. In 1858, Polly Parker, escaped from the steamship, Gray Cloud, when it stopped for more wood at St. Marks. She was on the steamship because she was being deported to Indian territory. Light refreshments will be served at this event, courtesy of the City of St. Marks.
