Lunch and Learn: What is Archaeology?

Description: Have you ever wondered what exactly it is that archaeologists do and why they do it? Barbara Hines, Archaeologist with the Florida Public Archaeology Network, will be discussing the importance of archaeology as it relates to understanding our past and protecting it for our future. She will also touch on the basics of the science of archaeology and discuss the multiple benefits of studying archaeological sites as it relates to Florida.
