Dig Into Reading Summer Program: It's in the Trash!
Time: 10:00 am til 11:00 am
Location: Live Oak Public Library
Description: Bring the kids to the library for a great time! We will work with clean modern trash to learn how archaeologists use items found at archaeological sites (artifacts) to learn what people were doing in the past. This fun activity teaches students what the artifacts from archaeological sites mean to archaeologists, and how they can interpret them in order to classify a site. Great for encouraging critical thinking skills! We use clean trash of course!
