Paddling Series: Embrace the Gulf - Ozello Trail

Time: 8:30 am til 12:00 pm

Location: 398 North Pirate Point, Crystal River

Description: Looking for something to do? Join Us! This paddle is designed for all skill levels and rental boats are available! Pre-Registration is REQUIRED!

DEP's Big Bend Seagrasses Aquatic Preserves and the Florida Public Archaeology Network are excited to host a guided kayak tour exploring the tranquil backwaters of St. Martins Marsh Aquatic Preserve. We will wind through mangrove islands while delving into the rich cultural history and pristine natural communities unique to coastal Citrus County!

Participants MUST wear their life vests and will need to be able to maneuver their vessel independently for approximately 5 total miles for this tour. We will not be in open water, but we will be in the Gulf of Mexico where motor boat presence is expected.

Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Water, Lunch/Snacks are strongly encouraged. These items WILL NOT be supplied.
