Archaeology of UF Campus - History Bike Gainesville & Florida Museum

Time: 1:30 pm til 4:00 pm

Location: Florida Museum of Natural History 3215 Hull Rd Gainesville, FL 32611

Description: Gainesville hasn't always been as we experience it today! Long long before the University and college kids, before the old Victorian Houses and railroad depots, before the Seminole and Spanish wrangled cattle on the Prairie, Native Americans lived and thrived in this area for thousands of years. On this tour, History Bike Gainesville and The Florida Museum of Natural History will be leading riders on an exploration of prehistoric archaeological sites on the University of Florida campus as well as notable historic features that make the campus unique.

Ride Will Start Promptly at 2 PM. We suggest riders arrive at least 30 minutes prior for registration. Tour will last about 2 hours, start and end back at the Florida Museum of Natural History.

Let's be safe! Helmets and personal water strongly recommended! If it looks like rain, we will cancel and reschedule!

It will be hot...BRING WATER!
