National Estuaries Day Celebration

Time: 9:00 am til 12:00 pm

Location: 3266 N Sailboat Ave, Crystal River, Florida 34428

Description: Come learn about the importance and beauty of the estuary in your own backyard! There will be games, critters, free boat rides, and lots of fun facts to soak up. The whole family is welcome, and it's free!

Co-sponsored by FDEP’s St. Martins Marsh Aquatic Preserve and Crystal River Preserve State Park as well as Citrus County School’s Marine Science Station, these events will take place from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2018 to celebrate the conclusion of Save Our Waters Week on National Estuaries Day/National Public Lands Day. The three events will occur concurrently and utilize the Crystal River Preserve State Park Visitor’s Center and Citrus County School’s Marine Science Station facilities; however, parking will be exclusively at Crystal River Preserve State Park's Visitor Center.

In addition, Florida Park Service will be celebrating National Public Lands Day with a Service-based interest project taking place during the event. We hope to see you there!
