Description: March is Florida Archaeology Month! Let’s celebrate this fascinating science by learning what archaeology is, and importantly what it is not! This educational and entertaining workshop will focus on the misuse and misunderstandings around Florida’s past and how archaeologists study Florida’s historic residents through the artifacts they left behind. This presentation is followed by hands-on activities. Join the Florida Public Archaeology Network for this free workshop recommended for all ages. Pre-registration is required.
