Silver River Knap-In

Time: 9:00 am til 4:00 pm

Location: Silver River Museum and Environmental Education 1445 NE 58th Avenue ยท Ocala, Florida 3447

Description: The eighth annual Silver River Knap-in February 17-18 features a prehistoric arts festival and stone tool making. Held at the Silver River Museum and Environmental Education Center, you can check out bow and arrow making, tomahawk and spear throwing, pottery making, Indian artifact displays and more. There will be archaeology talks by experts in the field, an old time puppet show, museum scavenger hunt and tram tours of the Silver Springs State Park in addition to food and craft vendors. There's something for everyone. And it's all included with park admission of $5 per person. Kids 5 and under free.
